If it wasn't for @JayzTwoCents on YouTube, I would not know about Fractal Design and therefore I may not have bought this case. But, thanks to that channel, I added this to my list of (many) brands that I could probably trust and I'm not disappointed. I must admit, though I have a couple of minor complaints, but overall this case is awesome and so I won't take off any stars, I'll just state my issues here and let it be. Heck, I may as well cover them now and then get on with the good part of the review.
So, maybe I'm confused, but I had a difficult time installing a 120mm fan on the top of the case (inside). I was only able to get two screws through two holes and I also had to use some nuts to get them to screw in. I'm not sure how this fan is supposed to fit there. I think the space is intended for a 240mm fan or radiator with 2 of these fans, I'm not sure, I'm confused. The fan I installed there works, though, so I'm not complaining too much. I think I read that to fully utilize this top area in this way requires removal of the CD/DVD drive bay, which I don't want to do (even though I pretty much never use that drive, I still keep one installed). My second issue is also kind of minor, just frustrating. There's a spot inside next to the where the power supply unit goes where you can attach an SSD. This means that you don't have to use one of the drive bays for an SSD, which means you can add two more SSDs or HDDs, if you wish (and I have) by using the drive bay on the bottom. There's also a bigger one up top for bigger devices like the CD/DVD drive I mentioned. I think there are only two openings for this. You could probably find an adapter if you want to put a SSD or HDD in there. Eventually, I decided to try this out, but it was kind of frustrating. It's pretty much my own fault, which I don't really blame FD for this. There is a paper in the box that shows you pretty much where you can install each part. I think they're even in steps. So, the SSD installation would be a step before the PSU. But, I didn't follow these steps. I installed everything, including the SSD in one of the smaller drive bays on the bottom, but later decided to put it where the paper suggested so that I could add two HDDs to this case. Unfortunately, this meant that I had to remove the PSU. Actually, at first, I had to remove both panels (left and right), but that's actually simple. However, it was still difficult to install the SSD in that spot, because I had to try to line up the SSD's holes to match the holes on the case and put a screw through a hole on one side so that it could attach the the SSD on the other side. This was kind of difficult with low light and trying to use my phone as a flash light and having only two hands, instead of three. This would have been easier with someone else helping, but I like to do whatever I can by myself, without asking for help. This was frustrating, but I did get it installed, which is allowing me to use the two bottom drive bays for two old HDDs I have, which gives me more storage space. So, while this install was frustrating, I'm grateful for what it's allowed me to do.
Now let's get to the good stuff! I chose blue, since it's passionately my favorite color, but it comes in other colors. There are two fans pre-installed in the front. I believe they have white lights on them, even though I wish they were blue. I did buy two Corsair fans, but I only have the one at the top installed. I could replace one of the pre-installed fans with the other Corsair fan, but I don't really feel like doing it, it's not necessary, maybe I'm lazy. There's a circular design of light you can see when looking at the front of the case, but this design is stationary, it doesn't move while the fans are spinning. These fans are only 3-pin PWM fans, which makes them less configurable, but still possible with some software, BIOS, or a fan controller. They are definitely quiet at full speed, so really there's no need to adjust their speed.
Since I just mentioned the fans, now is a great place to tell you that this case is amazingly cool! I don't know if it's because I have a lot of fans in it, but this case is much cooler than my old Alienware Aurora R4. My new air cooled GPU ran hotter in that case, but runs cooler in this case, that says something! I didn't think these fans were that powerful and as effective as they are, but they are!
The front and top have a mesh on them that helps prevent dust and dirt from getting inside, which is definitely valuable, dust can kill components. I thought the bottom had one, too, but I think the last time I looked, it didn't. It seems to have space for one. Maybe I didn't look at it right, maybe mine came off, or maybe there wasn't one to begin with. It's ok though. You can remove these meshes easily, but I don't know why you would want to unless you just want to clean them and put them back on, which is also easy.
One of the things that initially impressed me a lot, before I put it together was that the case has holes for full and micro ATX motherboards. Well, that's not exactly what impressed me, since full ATX cases are usually (or always) compatible with mATX. But, this case not only has holes for both sizes, but it even shows you which holes are used for which size. There are letters etched in the metal which makes it clear which holes are for which size. I thought this was pretty genius.
I'm not sure what else to say about it. I do like it. It has two USB ports on the front, which is very useful. I use them to charge my phone or to use a USB drive. There are audio ports up front, too, but I don't use them. It's very quiet, although that's not just the case that's all the other components, too. It looks good. The side panels are easy to remove or put back on, just two simple screws. The left side has a window, I think it's made out of plastic. It provides a look into your PC, which can be useful especially if you have RGB components. Because of this window, I was able to recently notice the RGB on my AIO water cooler for my CPU was warning me (it lights up red if it the CPU reaches a certain temperature). Without this window, I wouldn't have noticed, so I'm grateful for this as my new PC now has a new cooler for the CPU.
Other than that, I can't really think of anything else to say. I do give this a recommendation. Try out the SSD install onto the case and see if it's for you, if not you can add it to one of the drive bays. You may think about replacing the two pre-installed fans, but if you monitor the temperature of your computer, you'll probably notice that these fans are just fine and don't need to be replaced.
Now there are better cases out there for really not much more money. Included front fans are very quiet but also don't seem to push a ton of air so might upgrade those to 140mm eventually. Cable management is there, but I ended up still stuffing some up in the CD drive area. I also have a bit of an older power supply with unneeded runs of cables, so if I had a semi-modular it would probably be fine.
Overall I'm happy. You can spend $30-$40 more on a tempered glass case with maybe more fans and better cable management. But if you're not looking to spend a whole lot on a case this is definitely quality for the price. If I ever decide to upgrade I will be looking to get a Fractal.
Could the HD audio cutout be bigger? Sure, but at least it has one and it serves its purpose. Cable management is lacking and it's definitely a tight squeeze in the back for larger cables, but it works. Otherwise, the case serves my needs perfectly. I like that it's smaller than most Mid Towers but fully featured, as I needed to squeeze it into a cabinet. Function over form, it still includes two front 5.25" bays where most cases these days do away with them simply for aesthetics. (I still like having a DVD drive, and I put a USB hub in the other.) It's built sturdy, looks great, and few cases period have fully filtered intakes which I love.
The Petrol Blue color isn't as vivid as I expected, I think it actually looks kinda flat. I can't say I'm not slightly disappointed, but it still looks nice.

Buena compra. Llena de detalles y buenos acabados. Ligera.
